My Window Birdhouse is an exciting product manufactured in the USA by Diverse Woodworking, LLC. This product gives the opportunity for an educational experience that will leave all ages amazed by watching the remarkable way birds build their nest and raise their young. You are able to see the complete family interaction, safely, without disturbing the birds’ daily routine. My Window Birdhouse gives you the opportunity to teach children about nature daily, while also teaching them about respecting nature and not disturbing the birds.
The kits includes all parts and detailed instructions on how to build your own My Window Birdhouse. My Window Birdhouse is manufactured and all of its parts are built in the great USA. It is built to last from all natural rot resistant cedar, which will withstand all weather climates for many bird nesting seasons to come. Each birdhouse is hand assembled in our work shop to ensure the best quality product we can provide to our customers. The birdhouses are constructed with approximately 5/8” thick cedar; this gives the house itself the durability to withstand the elements while keeping its residents safe.
High quality industrial grade suction cups that rated for supporting 4lbs a piece are used when making My Window Birdhouse. My Window birdhouse only weighs in around 1 ½ lbs and they are assembled using two suction cups that are able to hold 4lbs a piece. Giving you a total weight capacity for the product around 8lbs. So once your new residents start t move in your My Window Birdhouse and filling up their new home, you’ll never have to worry about the My Window Birdhouse becoming detached from the window. The only thing that you need to do to ensure a solid bond between the window and the suction cup is clean both the area of the window, in which you are applying the birdhouse, and the suctions themselves before attaching your My Window Birdhouse to the window.
The side of My Window Birdhouse that will face towards the window and to the inside of your house is made using a durable piece of 1/16” Plexiglas. This will keep the birds safe as well as your window. My Window Birdhouse does NOT include a two way mirror or film. The reason behind this is if a bird was to see its own reflection it would either be scared or be aggressive depending on the individual bird. This is not something that you want to happen. If you have ever seen a window bird feeder, My Window Birdhouse should be view in the similar way. The birds know that it is a safe and secure place, so they will nest in the birdhouse. My Window Birdhouse will also help deter birds from building their nest in places you do not want them too, like your window seal.
My Window Birdhouse dimensions are 5 1/8” W x 5 1/8” L x 8 1/2”H.
