Description

This is an original vintage c.1929 Imperial Airways Limited Map of the London – Ostend, Brussels, Cologne and London-Amsterdam Routes.   This map is in the original printed covers which measure about 8” x 10.5” with the map folding open to about 30” x 20” or about 75 cm x 50 cm.   The map is a sort of pictorial birds-eye view showing part of the UK, London, the English Channel and the Low Countries with Brussels, Amsterdam and other cities with the air routes of Imperial Airways delineated.
The original owner made some notations in pencil mostly in the English Channel area of the map between the UK and Europe.  The map looks like is was folded slightly irregularly and is not attached to the covers but laid neatly back in.   Overall condition is very good and the map would frame up nicely.  Email any questions.  Thanks for looking.
