This
SES Standard Environmental Systems model TB/2C Environmental Test Chamber looks to be in decent cosmetic condition, showing some signs of wear.
It powers up, as shown, and responds to input from the switches and controllers.
I tested it at 50.0°C, 100.0°C and 150.0°C, and it heated up fine, but at about 5° before reaching the set point, the indicator light on the temperature controller switches from "L1" to "L2," the "Heating" light goes out, and the set point drops to 23.9°C, and the chamber stops heating
. The Alarm set point was set to 160°C, so I'm not sure what is preventing it from stabizing at the set point.
I tried testing the cooling functions as well; the "Refrig" light illuminated when the switch was flipped on, and it made some compressor sounds, but the temperature on the controllers actually started to rise.
This is the extent of my testing of this chamber, and it is being sold as-is.
The power cord had been cut pretty short when we got this chamber, so I installed a 125VAC 30A plug on the end of what was left of the cord; you will need to provide your own extension cord, or possibly wire in a new power cord.
Approximate internal chamber dimensions: 14-3/8"W x 16"H x 14"D.
Approximate overall unpacked dimensions (not including the pallet): 33"L x 44"W x 26"H.
