I photographed this rare set of cards back in the 1990s with the best equipment and with the best techniques for photographing posters. I've posted photos of the lobby set transparencies simply lying on a light table, so you can see what I'm talking about. In fact, if you look closely at the bottom of the lobby card that shows the backsides of the three Brides, you can see a piece of scotch tape that was put on the clear
outside
protective casing that houses the 4x5 transparency. Like I said, it's just laying there on a light table and then shot with a regular old digital camera. Nevertheless, look how good the transparencies look in this raw low-grade state. Imagine a proper scan made off them - WOW! The Dracula window card (2 and 1/4 inch transparency) was shot with a
