    Description

    1937 poster for the film Dead End. Humphrey Bogart played a supporting role in this film along with several similar crime movies until 1940 when he began to take lead roles in all his films.
    The Dead End kids, later East Side Kids, and still later The Bowery Boys evolved from these early crime films, and several members of that group appeared along side Bogart in this early crime drama.
