Description
Ideal Rage is a cutthroat card game that requires both luck and strategy to win. Based on the hand you are dealt, you figure out how many tricks you can win and bid that number. Hold a greater lead by using action cards and assuring your opponents don’t make their bids!
At the start of each round, the 2-8 players are dealt cards and must guess how many cards they will wind up with. The first card played is the trump color and players have to match that if possible. The highest card in that color wins the round, but if a player doesn’t have that color, they can play a Rage Action Card which could do a number of things to mess with the other players.
Rage Action Cards:
Out Rage – Removes the Trump Card. Whoever plays the highest card of the suit led wins the trick. There is no more trump until someone plays a change card.
Change Rage – The player who plays this immediately looks through the Trump pile and places a new color of their choice as the Trump Card.
Bonus Rage – Whoever wins the trick gets 5 additional points added to their score.
Mad Rage – Whoever wins the trick loses 5 points from their score.
Wild Rage – The player can pick the new Trump Color and this card is the highest number of that color.
You score points for each trick won, predicting how many cards you get and using Rage Cards. The player with the highest score after 10 rounds wins!
