UNKNOWN ART GLASS, WHITE SPATTER ON GOLD VERTICAL RIBBON-LIKE STRIPES, MINT

Description

While I am not 100% sure, I think this uniquely decorated vase was made in Bohemian/Czechoslovakia, based on the unusual coloration, texture and hand work.  There is no pontil which is typical of much Czech glass because a pontil rod is not used in the finish work when the piece is held with a metal grip/clamp.  This piece has the marvered vertical stripes or ribbons, alternating gold speckled bands with clear bands between, all of them spattered/marvered with white specks. The vase stands about 6 1/4" H and is relatively light weight.  It is perfect, no chips or nicks or cracks.  Check out my OTHER ITEMS/SELLER STORE.
